This podcast begins with the discussion on millennials being divided into two new names. Bruce wondered what the new names were, which John said they were broken down first by those born in the 1980s called the sharers. These were the ones who invented the sharing economy. Those born in the 1990s were called the connectors because they are the ones leading us to being connected 24/7 with our smart phones. Everybody’s definition of when the millennials begin and end is different. Mark Zuckerberg is a millennial, and so is John’s daughter who is a high school junior. However, everybody can relate to what year you are born and your high school classmates.

Next up on the panel were Sean O'Toole, Nick Bailey, and Gary Acosta. Nick Bailey serves as Vice President for Zillow Group and helps build the company’s strategic partners and relationships throughout the U.S. Gary is one of the co-founders and CEO of the National Association of Hispanic Real Estate Professionals. Prior to launching PropertyRadar Sean successfully purchased and flipped more than 150 residential and commercial foreclosures. Together they discuss the different groups millennials are divided into, the big demographic shift that occurred recently, the rate of unemployment, the workforce participation and business formation rate, PropertyRadar and how it grew Sean's client base, the future state of Zillow, the open door policy, and much more on this week's Norris Group real estate radio show and podcast.

This week's radio show carries over from last week when we got to hear from the heads of St. Jude Children's Research Hospital and Make a Wish Foundation.  When we last left off, Sarah Pizzaruso of Make a Wish told about a wish granted to a little boy named Finn, who wanted to be a cool kid.  His wish did not just give Finn hope, strength, and joy. It gave the same to his mom and dad. Now, as they continue to tell stories about the day, Make a Wish knows it extends much far beyond this. It extends to the limo driver who delivered him VIP to the entrance rivaling that of a Hollywood premiere. It extends to the crowd of volunteers lining the red carpet and holding signs and cheering Finn on like the rock start he is. It also extends to every employee and shopper in the mall that day who helped a little boy become what he dreamed of most: the coolest kid in town. It was not just a wish for one kid or family. Finn’s wish left us all feeling hope, strength, and joy. That is the power of Make a Wish.

This week's radio show covers events from the I Survived Real Estate event, including how it got it's start, who first came up with the idea, the Rohny Award and when it was first established, this year's winner, what he did for the community and others to win the award, and much more on this week's Norris Group real estate radio show and podcast.
