Bruce Norris is joined this week by William E. Brown. Bill is a realtor from Alamo, California and is the 2017 president of the National Association of Realtors. NAR is the voice of real estate and America’s largest trade organization, representing over 1 million realtors involved in all aspects of residential and commercial real estate industries. In 2013, Bill served as NAR’s vice president; and prior to that he has served in many other capacities and received many awards during the past 35 years. He is a second-generation realtor who has been active in organized real estate for more than 35 years. He is the founder of Oakland Based Investment Properties, a division of family real estate business founded in 1964 by his dad William H. Brown. Here, they focus on the sale of existing apartment buildings to both institutional and private capital investors.

Bruce Norris is joined this week by David Kittle. David began his mortgage banking career in 1978 with American Fletcher Mortgage Company. As a top producing loan officer, he moved to the management side in ’86. He opened his own company, Associates Mortgage Group, in 1994 and sold it in 2006. David is founding partner and vice-chairman of the Mortgage Collaborative, the nation’s premiere mortgage cooperative. David is past president of the Louisville and Kentucky Mortgage Bankers Association. He is the past chairman of MBA’s political action committee MORPAC and former vice chair of MBA’s residential board of governors. He served on MBA’s board of directors from 2004-2010. David is past chairman of the Mortgage Banker’s Association in Washington, D.C., completing his term in October 2009. David’s principled and straight-forward approach served him well in the industry. He testified 14 times before Congress and lead the industry during the most tumultuous period he has ever had.

Bruce and Aaron Norris Join IE Builder Alex Serrato on the Norris Group Real Estate Radio Show #550

Bruce Norris is joined again this week by Alex Serrato. Alex is a local builder in Riverside who he has partnered with on many deals. One of the reasons Bruce wanted him to come in is they have had a good experience working with each other, and his niche is one that might be an advantage to other investors. It is hard for them to find deals right now, but working from scratch might be another niche they can employ.
