I Survived Real Estate 2015 Part 2 #458

This week's segment begins with Bruce Norris presenting this year's Rohny award to Ward Hanigan. Bruce shared Ward's life story and the impact he had on so many through his teachings. After presenting the award, Bruce discusses reverse and undue stimulus, using a house that went through several different price changes over the years as an example. Next, he brings up the first two panelists at the event, David Kittle and Doug Duncan. David Kittle Senior Vice President of Federal Solutions for First American Mortgage Solutions, specializing in risk mitigation and analytics. Doug Duncan is Fannie Mae’s Chief Economist and Vice President. Together, they discuss the state of the market and if we have moved from a vindictive state to a constructive one as well as the increase in costs, the time it takes to close a loan, the house discussed earlier and its price journey, and the majority of millennials living at home on this week's Norris Group real estate radio show and podcast.

Bill Cosgrove Joins Bruce Norris on the Real Estate Radio Show #402

Bruce Norris is joined this week by Bill Cosgrove.  Bill is the chairman elect of the Mortgage Bankers Association.  He began his career in the mortgage banking industry in 1986 as a loan officer and has served in many positions for the Mortgage Bankers Association.  This includes the president of the Ohio MBA from 2007-2008.  On October 19, Bill will officially be sworn in as the chairman of the Mortgage Bankers Association. Debra Still Joins Bruce Norris on the Real Estate Radio Show #350

Bruce Norris is joined this week by Debra Still.  Debra is President and Chief Executive Officer of Pulte Mortgage, a nationwide lender that is headquartered in Inglewood, Colorado.  The company employs 750 individuals throughout the United States.  They have been in business since 1972 and have seen over 400,000 homebuyers finance their new home purchases.  She became chairman of the Mortgage Bankers Association in October 2012, and she recently served as chair of MBA’s residential board of governors.  She is also a member of the association’s board of directors. E.J. Burke, Vice Chairman of the Mortgage Bankers Association, Joins Bruce Norris on the Real Estate Radio Show #298

Bruce Norris is joined this week by E.J. Burke. E.J. is vice-chairman of the Mortgage Bankers Association as well as the executive vice president and group head of Key Bank Real Estate Capital and Corporate Banking Services. This is a division of Key Bank NA. Burke is one of five group heads in Key Corporate Banking Division with responsibilities for Key Bank’s real estate capital, Key’s treasury management services, international and foreign exchange services, custody services, and the financial institution’s client segment.
