Aaron Norris is joined this week by Damien O’Farrell. They cover a topic they have never covered in the ten years since they started the radio show. Damien a community organizer and social entrepreneur who lives in Riverside. As a man of faith, he seeks to foster a just and sustainable community by supporting, advising, and developing initiatives of personal formation, community collaboration, and integration for those addressing barriers of dysfunction for a concern for the poor and marginalized. He is the CEO of Path of Life Ministries, the largest homeless shelter and housing provider in all of Riverside County. He continues to be involved in non-profits and initiatives like Seizing Our Destiny, the Pick Group, Riverside Neighborhood Partnership, the Raincross Group, and Give Big Riverside. His wife is also the CEO of the Big Brothers/Big Sisters of the Inland Empire, made up of young professionals shaping the community. Aaron always tells people how he finds out about awards in the community because either Damien or his wife win them.
