Born and raised in Lakewood, California, Craig Hill attended Lakewood High, Long Beach City College, and received his Bachelor of Science degree from California State University, Long Beach. While attending CSULB, he followed his love of baseball by making his profession buying and selling baseball cards.

In 1984, Craig took his first job in the lending industry working for Vanguard Mortgage as a loan officer and loan manager. While employed there, we met and began funding REO purchases. When I officially started The Norris Group in 1994, Craig came aboard as both loan officer and investment manager and never looked back. Since that time, we have arranged hundreds of millions worth of investor loans.

Real Estate Appraisal with Bob King of Del Rey Appraisal Services

 In this week's episode, Joey Romero is joined by Bob King of Del Rey Appraisal Services. They talked a lot of interesting things about real estate appraisal, from technology, changes in the appraisal industry over the years, and especially the shift that happened during the start of this pandemic. 

Bob is a certified general appraiser at Del Rey Appraisal Services.  Del Rey is a full-service real estate appraisal firm providing valuation and consulting services throughout Southern California and is an SRA-designated member of the Appraisal Institute. 

Bob’s residential real estate appraisal experience includes single-family residential, single-family income property, 2-4 unit residential income property, land, and condominiums.  He has also worked on appraisals for FHA, REO’s, estate planning appraisals, retrospective appraisals, and divorce property settlement appraisals.  Bob has even served as an Expert Witness for the Superior Court of San Bernardino County.

 Bob does a lot of volunteering for the Appraisal Institute of Southern California where he has served on committees for the better part of 12 years.  Bob earned a Bachelor of Science in Engineering technology from Cal Poly Pomona
